Adaptive reuse of a nineteenth-century mansion in the 2nd arrondissement, retaining its grand proportions and ornate plasterwork while introducing the layered, informal comfort expected of a members' house. Original parquet, marble and wrought iron are set against contemporary upholstery, art and lighting, allowing each room to read as its own chapter within a single narrative of considered Parisian eclecticism.
